Founded by Julia Usher, a jeweller and silversmith trained at Birmingham School of Jewellery, after she lost a loved one and couldn’t find memorial jewellery she liked. AMJ developed its own technique of rolling cremation ashes or hair directly onto silver or gold, alongside fingerprint and handwriting pieces, from a woodland workshop in the Staffordshire countryside.
