I spent years in the direct cremation industry, and the same conversation came up constantly. Someone would tell me what their mum had wanted, in her own words. Scattered at sea. Planted with her roses. Taken back to the place she grew up. What almost nobody knew was that entire businesses exist to make those things happen properly. Families would search for hours, or give up and leave the ashes in a cupboard. Celebrated Lives exists to close that gap. Every listing here is a real UK business offering something a family might be looking for and would otherwise never find. That is the whole point of the directory, and it is why a listing here works differently to a general business directory. Nobody browses Yell for a way to honour their father.

There isn't one. The directory is only useful to families if it is comprehensive, so a well populated directory serves everyone. We would rather have you listed for free than not listed at all.
Yes, every listing includes a direct link to your site.
Yes. Once your listing is claimed or created, you can log in and update the description, photographs, contact details and categories yourself, whenever you like.
Listings are reviewed manually before they go live, usually within a couple of working days. We check that the business is real and that the service genuinely relates to memorials or ashes.
Your business name, a short description of what you offer, your website, contact details and at least one photograph. Ten minutes at most.
Every listing is checked by hand before it appears. That is deliberate. Families arriving here are at a difficult moment and need to trust what they find.
