Tithe Green Oxton is the original site of this independent, family-run natural burial provider, set in woodland and wildflower meadow in the Nottinghamshire countryside near Calverton. Families with ashes can arrange a natural interment from £875, where ashes are buried in a biodegradable container either within the woodland, accompanied by a newly planted memorial tree and a Welsh slate plaque with a bespoke inscription, or in the wildflower meadow with a plaque. A memorial tree can also be planted without any burial taking place, from £750. Interments can be attended or unattended. Tithe Green has no catchment policy, so families from anywhere in the UK are welcome. The site is open to visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no plastic, concrete or chemicals used anywhere on the grounds.
