Olney Green Burial Ground is nearly ten acres looking out over Olney and the Great Ouse valley, within easy reach of Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton.

There are no headstones. Trees are planted as living memorials instead, and understorey species are being planted underneath so the whole site matures into proper woodland over time.

Paths are mown but the grass between is left to grow, which makes it good habitat and gives it the feel of a meadow rather than a cemetery.
