South Hams Natural Burial Ground is woodland at Aveton Gifford in a Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with open views across the countryside.

Burial plots, cremation plots and ash scattering are all offered, so families have the full range of options in one place. Memorials can be personalised with a tree or a hand-crafted bench.

The thing that sets them apart is that they only hold one burial a day. Nobody is being moved along to make room for the next service, and families can stay as long as they want. It is run by a family team with over twenty years in funeral services behind them, though the ground itself is not a funeral directing business.
