St Albans Woodland Burial Ground is over twelve acres of managed woodland at Keysoe, run by a not-for-profit charity whose wider aim is restoring 350 acres of ancient native woodland across the St Albans Diocese.

Both full burial and ashes interment are available, with eco-coffins, shrouds or urns.

It is one of only two consecrated woodland burial grounds in the UK, and the land carries protected status in perpetuity. For families who want the reassurance of consecrated ground alongside a natural burial, there are very few options in the country, and this is one of them.
